"The Windows Installer Service Could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or .......... "
To fix this windows installer error please do the following:
A. Re-register the windows installer service
Make sure the Msiexec.exe file in the folder \ windows \ system32 \, open windows explorer and make sure the file exists.
Then run the msiexec / unregister from the start menu> run. after that run msiexec / regserver. This function is to restart the service msiexec.
Up here, the windows installer should now be used.
B. Now we check and make sure our service msiexec (windows installer) is always available and can be used at any time.
Run msconfig from the start menu - run, and then select the service, and make sure the windows installer service is checked.
Then we check out his windows installer service in windows service policy.
go to control panel and select Administrative Tools. Choose a service icon.
Then in the service menu, locate and double-click Windows Installer.
Then, select the start-up mode to enable or automatic. Service status will be automatically turned into stop if the service is not used.
If the error still occurs, try to reinstall Windows Installer service.
Download the Windows Installer from microsoft and type msiexec / unregister in the start-run, then run the installation of Windows Installer applications that have been downloaded.
